Cisco_CCNAv7: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA)

Description

This is the third course in the CCNA curriculum. This course describes the architectures and considerations related to designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise networks. It covers wide area network (WAN) technologies and quality of service (QoS) mechanisms used for secure remote access along with the introduction of software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks.

Core Skills:
-Work with routers and switches using OSPF in point-to-point and multiaccess networks.
-Mitigate threats and enhance network security using access control lists and security best practices.
-Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-Understand virtualization, SDN, and how APIs and configuration management tools enable network automation

This course is intended for people who want to build their skills in scalable network architectures, dynamic routing, mitigation of security threats, wide-area networks, virtualization, automation of programmable networks.

This course is at an advanced level.

  • CCNAv7: Introduction to Networks (ITN)
    CCNAv7: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE)
  • Access to:
    - 2 Cisco Switch: minimum 2960s
    - 2 Cisco Router: minimum 1841s or 1941s
    - 2 Host Pcs
    - Console cable
    - Ethernet cables

    Course Recognitions:
    You may complete ONE final theory exam to obtain a Digital Badge

    This course prepares you for the following certification exams: Cisco Certified Network Associate (200 – 301 CCNA)

    You will only be ready to take this certification exam after completing all the following three courses in the CCNA curriculum or you have equivalent work experience:

    - CCNA: Introduction to Networks (ITN)
    - CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SWRE)
    - CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA)

    The Certification exam can be booked through Pearson Vue Test Centre located in Adelaide. You will need to pay for the cost of the certification exam yourself. In some cases, vouchers for the certification exam may be available through TAFE SA at no cost. For further information regarding the exam, you will need to contact the Exam supplier

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
